Panel description: Readers and writers who enjoy being scared for fun are often accused of being warped or unhinged–and maybe even downright creepy. The reality is that twisted fiction is often transformational for those who consume it. Join our panel’s lively discussion probing questions such as, Why do we enjoy creepy things? How are we changed by the love of horror, and how does horror impact who we are as humans? During this time when horror books, films, and other media are growing in popularity, horror clearly serves a purpose beyond fear. Dare to peek in the closet with us.
