Join me for Goths for Breakfast! 11 academics, experts, and writers–and a
full day of back to back classes and workshops on Gothic themes to raise money for the charity Magic Breakfast, which provides school breakfasts for children who need them. For my talk Horror, Hospitality, and the Social Risk of Saying No, I’ll be showing how refusing a drink in horror films—yes, even politely—can get you in way more trouble than the monsters themselves. From Rosemary’s Baby to Get Out to The Invitation, I’ll prove that sometimes the scariest thing is just saying no.

Join us for Delco Horror Haven’s third annual horror book fair!

Nicole M. Wolverton and other local authors will share and sell their books at Horsham Township Library’s first-ever local author showcase!
Half the fun of a book fest is finding your next great read. The other half is meeting great local writers. Between shopping and dining at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, guests can browse books, engage with authors, sign-up for giveaways and a raffle, and learn about local writing groups.

Where do the monsters under your bed go when the sun rises? Why is the loch-ness monster scarier than a scaly mermaid? Who decided to make clowns the scariest things on earth? And why aren’t we talking more about the haunted house epidemic?
Join Mavey Books on Monday, October 20 for a horror author panel (Adam Cesare, Vincent Tirado, Diana Rodriguez Wallach, and Nicole M. Wolverton) discussing scary stories, Halloween, and why your overactive imagination isn’t even half as bad as the real thing.

Writers Steve A. Wiggins, Christopher D. Ochs, Vincent Tirado, and Nicole M. Wolverton will be talking about the places where horror happens at the Easton Book Festival!

Join Nicole at the Baltimore Book Festival again in 2025–this time for a panel on How Horror Healed Me. Nicole will appear with Darius Jones and Doug Gwilym, and the panel will be moderated by Red Lagoe. Nicole will sign copies of A Misfortune of Lake Monsters after the panel.

Swing by Children’s Book World to celebrate the launch of Diana Rodriguez Wallach’s latest YA horror novel with a Q&A conversation with YA Horror Author Nicole M. Wolverton.

Nicole M. Wolverton will be a participating vendor at the second annual Delco Horror Haven Invasion Market!
